The snow has turned to rain, that means it is almost spring in SW Montana We are going to try a new (to us) trail up in the Little Belts area. NE of Bozeman by 1-1.5 hours. NOTE: Our #1 goal/value for the club is Fun & Adventure. This means we haven't prerun the trail, we are going in blind. It could be as easy as forest service roads or it could be a tougher trail. I know there is a club ride on Saturday but I'm also planning on making a quick Sunday drive out to Elkhorn and the Skyline Mine. Easy peasy trail, with a lot of water crossings and racing stripes are almost certain. pretty narrow in spots. Snow up there also makes this trail a lot more interesting, and I haven't been in the Elkhorn's yet this season so who knows what it looks like, but there is no gate to keep us out so lets go for it. Hello all, My wife and I are originally from the west (WA/ID border for me) and have been living in New England for 5 years. Both of us would like to move closer to "home" but the Coeur d'Alene area seems to have gotten crowded and expensive. This has peaked our interest in MT.
