I was at a get together at one of Esther's friends and the guy who is a hotrod builder was showing me his shop. He recently got a laser type device and it removes all impurities from metal It just vaporizes it, rust, paint, grime it just removes it all. I asked if it left a pile of ash, he said not really, it can stick tho. he showed me a cast iron fry pan where he did half of it and it was night and day difference. he said it will remove paint from a beer can the one he has runs on 220V

Diesel owners mark your calendars! We're going for a third consecutive year for our oddball diesel meet in Helena. We will meet up at the State Capitol starting around 10 AM on Saturday, October 17 to hang out, talk diesels and check out each other's rigs for a while. After a couple of hours we'll grab lunch somewhere and then head out for a group cruise on scenic backroads. We'll plan to wrap up late afternoon to allow people time to get home. In the 80 Tech Forum there is a "What did you do with your 80 this weekend" thread. In that thread 80 owners post what they've been doing with their rigs. This include mods, engine swaps, wheeling trips, just posting a photo of it in the driveway and saying, "I looked at it" or "did an oil change" and things related to anything 80 series.
