  • 2024 40s Only Run planning thread

Time to round up the 40s and let 'em run! The Club calendar has been set for Club Runs but there are a few open weekends. It's looking like snow will be gone soon and the fire season might be bad, so let's not wait until July/August. Best to get it on the calendar so folks have time to change the points and freshen up the diff oil. June 15, 2024 I'm gonna suggest June 15, June 22, or June 29 as three possible dates for a 40s only run. Here's a start on trail... Read more

  • What have you been doing with your Toyota?
by [email protected] (JohnnyOshow22) on May 23, 2024 at 2:09 am

In the 80 Tech Forum there is a "What did you do with your 80 this weekend" thread. In that thread 80 owners post what they've been doing with their rigs. This include mods, engine swaps, wheeling trips, just posting a photo of it in the driveway and saying, "I looked at it" or "did an oil change" and things related to anything 80 series. I think it would be cool to see what local club members are currently doing with their rigs/adventures/toyota related things and thats why I'm starting... Read more

After the complete disappointment that was the gambler 2023 with the horrible decision to buy and rally a 92 geo I came to my senses and found a much better vehicle. A Toyota this time. And I have roughly a year to make this thing into something cool. And here it is. 1986 2wd pickup. 198k when the Speedo and Odometer stoped working Needs brakes but came with an extra set of snow tires. 22re seems to run well, but looks like it could use a new valve cover gasket. It’s... Read more

Well, I have a new(ish) project. I will warn up front that I tend to move slow on my projects, but thought I would do my best to track this one. I actually purchased this 1988 22re manual last summer, but it was low on my priority list. However, I am starting to pick up some steam. To no surprise, I initially started working out a base line for reliability, as the engine is a little tired but running good now. Basic Goal Overview - very capable but still can be a... Read more

So this is a thread decided to start. Help build the community a bit. Meet new people with cool rides, kind of a thing we all do on Instagram all the time so it might be fun to spread it to our local MUD page... the game is take pictues of your firends or cool rides you see out and about in Bozeman, and post em up...obviously not while your driving...
